These overnight oats with raisins taste like an oatmeal cookie in a jar. At $0.96 per serving they are a great grab-n-go breakfast that your child can eat in the car on the way to school.

Ingredients

  • ½ c old fashioned oats
  • ½ c non-fat plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ c milk
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 - 2 tsp honey
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together and place, covered, in the refrigerator the night before you want to eat them.
  • In the morning grab a spoon and enjoy.

Notes

You can top these with more raisins or some chopped nuts just before eating.
Unsweetened vanilla soy milk is a good lower calorie option.
Buy the 32 oz yogurt and it will make 7 servings. It is much less per ounce than the single serve containers.
